About RecycleMatch

RecycleMatch has a vision for the future of zero waste. A future where it’s not just about achieving zero landfill, but about ensuring the best and highest use for all materials your organization generates. Our original hypothesis was that an online marketplace was the way to improve transparency about the real market values for materials. The online marketplace did a couple of things really well: it helped companies make 10-20% more for their commodity materials through competitive transactions, and it accelerated the pace for discovering new solutions for materials that were destined for the landfill. But, we learned that the largest companies -- the ones with the largest volumes of consistent, high-quality materials -- were not likely to use the marketplace without additional features. So, in fall of 2011 we announced our enterprise software as a service platform. With this platform, large organizations have all of the tools they need, and all of the control they want to optimize the value of their materials across their organization.  This enterprise platform is a great fit for manufacturers of all kinds, as well as companies that aggregate recyclables and waste materials for their next life.

RecycleMatch is based in Houston, Texas. RecycleMatch was honored to be named Entrepreneur Magazine’s Most Brilliant Ideas, as well as to be selected by Capital Factory accelerator program in Austin and the PopTech Fellows Program in Camden, Maine.
