RecycleMatch Selected as a Finalist for the Microsoft BizSpark Accelerator Showcase at the SXSW Interactive Conference

In case you didn’t know, SXSW (South by Southwest) is more than a music industry event. The SXSW Interactive Conference which was started in 1994, has been described as a “breeding ground for new ideas and creative technologies” with its focus on emerging technologies and entrepreneurial ventures (Twitter launched at SXSW Interactive in 2007). Hosting the Microsoft BizSpark Accelerator competition, SXSW reviews hundreds of applications and brings in industry experts to judge the best of the year’s new crop of internet startups.

This year, RecycleMatch is one of eight finalists competing for the honor of Most Innovative Web Technology in the BizSpark competition. Finalists are given the opportunity to showcase their product or company in front of a panel of professional industry expert judges and a live audience. SXSW Interactive is March 12 -16, 2010, and the RecycleMatch presentation is at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 15th in Austin, Texas. Other highlights of the event include a keynote address from Twitter CEO Evan Williams and dynamic panel sessions led by TED Conference organizers June Cohen and Jason Wishnow, among others.
